Mets drop Series to Padres as K-Rod blows 3rd game of Season
Mets lost in 11 innings 5-1 as they still have not won a road series this year. K- Rod had 2 outs and 2 strikes in the 9th trying to preserve the 1-0 lead thanks to the splendid performance of Johan Santana. But David Eckstein knocked a single up the middle as Tony Gwynn came around third to score the tying run. The Mets then threw out Eckstein trying to score from first on a double to force extra innings . After two scoreless innings, Raul Valdes came in and gave up a leadoff double to Gwynn who was then later thrown out on a Garland sacrifice bunt. Followed by two straight singles that set the padres up with the bases loaded with Adrian Gonzalez up in the 11th who crushed a grand slam to give the Padres the series victory over the Mets.

Mike Francesa attempts to rip apart Matt Cerrone and Metsblog.com
This morning on Mike Francesa's daily talk show he attempted to make fun of Mets analyst and avid blogger Matthew Cerrone he picked on the fact that Cerrone said that he was "Proud" of Pelf's perfomance last night, after commenting he also stated that Matt "looks like a 12 yr old who needs a bath" he also said "who even reads blogs at all" These were Francesa's comments this morning about it.
First of all I think Francesa has no business commenting on a person's age or hygeine nor does anyone and I don's see why he would even have any reason to comment on Matt or anyone else. He also comments "who reads a blog anyway" apparently he does because how would he know what Matt said about big Pelf anyway who I personally was "proud" of too last night.
So Mike Francesa's sorry attempt of making fun of a great Mets blogger failed. While he was caught red handed admitting he as well reads blog. Don't worry about it Matt you do an amazing job on your blog and I don't even think Francesa could do a better job
Great Job and keep doing the exempliary work you love to do.
From another Met blogger,
Justin

Top 10 Mets Moments from the 2010 (so far)
This season has had a lot of memorable moments for only being a quarter of the way through so lets count down some of the best moments of the 2010 season to date!
Welcome to the 2010 New York Mets Sports
Hi, my name is Justin I am a die hard Mets fan who has been through some exhillarating times as a fan (2000,2006 and even the first 161 games of the 2007 and 2008 seasons) as well as some depressing times most notably the last 3 seasons and the Art Howe era. This year has been a year of year of mixed emotions which is why I am here to bring you each and every day of Mets coverage right until the last day of Mets contention or WS triumph. So it starts today " You Gotta Believe".
